Chris’ Journey to Online Success with Free Methods

I finally got my last check, today!  Direct Deposit is amazing – there’s no 5 day wait for me, it’s a same day deposit, and it’s still morning – that’s pretty awesome.

So It looks like I’m going to get paid every two weeks from now on for the rest of my life!  It’s pretty awesome, you guys should definitely start working hard because the benefits you reap is totally worth it.

Anyways:  This is what I did so far – atleast for this morning:

So i’ll update that picture if it increases throughout the day.  I’m starting to see sales everyday now – so my goal is to start seeing two sales a day; that would be awesome for my article marketing campaign.

Daily Tips:

• Don’t give up, this article marketing thing works!  I tend to get my keywords from http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com and the google keywords tool, “just type in google keyword tool” in the Google search engine search box thingamajig.
• Focus your early efforts onto finding “converting niches”.  It sucks writing 9000 articles on “how to date chickens” – if you want a safe bet, make money online, with a high gravity product that’s been around for awhile will always convert….but be prepared to write tons of articles everyday.
• Keep Working Hard – I’m still not at my goal of 100$ a day, but I’m hoping to get there soon!

Landing Page Tips:

• Here are some landing page tips that have worked for me – as said before, the landing page that works best when using a blogger format is when there are two sidebars to the right.
• I write a review of the product with affiliate links throughout the review page – and a call to action at the end
• I tend to have a big picture of the product or a picture related to the product for the person when they first see my page.
• I use bullet points atleast once in my review page
• I fill up the sidebar with video displays, pictures, links to articles, etc – so it won’t look like an empty post.
• My best converting landing page has two blog posts of 500 or more words

Those are some quick landing page tips for you guys – just giving back to the community because they helped me so much.

P.S  – Just bought AWEBER mailing list services – so we’ll see how that affects my sales, if I start seeing a sharp spike in sales – you guys will no why

I still classify this under free method marketing, because I’m only investing the money that I earned through Bum Marketing & still using free methods to drive traffic.

You know what the best feeling is?  Making money while you were sleeping.

That’s how you know you’re doing something right – When you wake up and see cash in your bank.  It seems like I had a “TueSlow Tuesday” – but Wednesday seems to pick it up very quickly:

Here’s Some Quick Tips:

• 10 articles for a niche [or atleast a product] is a great way to tell if it converts or not.
• Your mind is the best keyword research tools – you should use online keyword research tools, but at the same time think: “would anybody type this in if they wanted to buy a product?”
• When I write, I try not to have paragraphs longer than three lines
• And Try A.I.D.A for the author’s resource box

Today was actually one of my most impressive sales despite the look of it.

The day’s not over yet, so i could still make more sales – but I want to tell you why this 13$ means so much to me.

This was only from about 4 articles pointed at the niche – and it was within a couple of days of being published – it was only a couple hours after I tweaked the landing page – and this means one thing:

My calculations were right – this new niche CONVERTS!

So I in fact have 4 converting niches that I’m going to start writing for every single day – three articles each.  You should start seeing a boost in sales since I have found a keyword list that might boost my income for specific niches.

Not to mention that I have about 15 articles  pending at this moment.  So it’s looking pretty awesome – The snowball seems to be gaining momentum every single day that I work, and I just have to keep on giving a consistent effort to this internet marketing campaign;

Hey guys, today’s been going well, especially because I’m really about to start picking up the work:

This is still sales from work I did weeks ago.  So I’m impressed with the power of internet marketing when done correctly.

I still have 30 Different Products and Niches that I still want to promote; so the faster I can get done, the better.

Hey guys, I’m trying to update on a regular basis: but i’m just so busy with everything !  Thanks for reading and maintaining support!

Here are my stats for today:

Pretty good earnings for today; but I have to keep working so that I can start seeing ultimate consistent sales – I don’t want the sales dying down now do I?

I have 31 products in which I believe have potential for me to start earning a profitable income with; today I’m starting to work extremely hard building landing pages and writing 10 articles for every product I like.

I should be making 100$ a day; pretty soon here.

This is how my day goes:

I plan on starting everyday by writing 9 articles for my niches that are already converting – then creating all my landing pages + 2-3 articles.  I write 2 articles for each of the landing pages I have created until I reach ten or it is a proven converter.

This is great; this is fantastic; I feel like I can do anything

• Write 3 articles each for my converting niches every single day for a month
• Write all my landing pages + 10 articles for each product – see which ones convert

Turns out that July was a pretty good month for Sales – hopefully they go up exponentially during Fall & Winter when people are DEFINITELY inside their house – That would be awesome; But here let me give you a quick sales update:

Hmmm…That was pretty un-expected after a two day drought – But I unfortunately had a refund today too, but i’m not frettin about it. lol

I still had a 56$ day – which is pretty good since I’m just getting started, ya know?

This is great because I’m going to be adding more to this niche that’s making me the bulk of my sales & I’m going to start expanding to different niches in which I can start seeing similar results.

I plan on promoting 31 different products when it’s all said and done: – That will surely give me consistent sales.  So I’m definitely looking forward to a month from now when I’m making super consistent sales!

Converting products obviously get much more attention than non-converting products[in fact non-converting products get more attention.

Right Now I’m:

• Maintain the NIches that Are Already Converting
• Creating a New Landing Page a Day
• Do the Additional Niches that Already have some articles written

Since I need to make money now & fast – I’m going to stop playing around and play operation dedication.  I’m going to wake-up early in the morning and aim for 100 articles a day.  Of course I probably won’t reach this goal or anywhere close, but if I am able to write 400 articles; I should be seeing some incredibly lucrative profits on a regular basis.

So it’s time to start – I have the time, I have the formula and knowledge – and I need to take advantage just in case this opportunity is not available in the future.

I can’t wait for 2morrow: and I can’t wait to see what the future brings

I do know that I made $1.55 with adsense from an extremely limited number of clicks.  So even when I do not have clickbank sales – I’m still a small bit of change from adsense which is pretty cool.

As an internet marketer – you should enjoy every cent of profit that your recieve, even if it’s an extremely limited amount that probably will not buy you much because in the long-run; you’ll be better for it.

This thing is full of droughts and dead periods. But over the course of months and even years – you’ll notice how consistent your sales truly are [if you're doing everything right].  If you make one sale; you’ll have more to come, especially if you are writing quality instead of pure garbage.

What I’m Doing Right Now:

I’m trying to finish promoting new products in approximately a month – I create a new landing page each and everday for a new product to see if it converts.  I’ll have a group of selected niches and these will ultimately be the ones that I continue promoting through article marketing and PPC.

My Checklist of Stuff I Want to Do:

• Write 30 Landing Pages Targeting 30 Different Products
• Make Money Online Massive E-mail List/Autoresponder Campaign
• Start My professional Super Affiliate Blog that blogs about affiliate marketing [Any suggested Names?]
• PPC with Clickbank, Commission Junction, & Azoogle Ads
• Start Creating My own Personal Ebooks, Products, and Memberships
• Start my own personal Empire of Blogs targeting every subject under the book
• TB-Continued

Hmm…These products keep converting!  This is awesome considering I haven’t written an article for about a week. LOL.

I frequently change my blog design to keep people interested – I tend to hate the same boring theme all the time; so I have to change it frequently. lol.

TheRazor: One of my main commentators wants me to update more often – so I’m going to give them what they want!

I guess I’ll update more often – I’ve just been busy so I can’t promise anything, but you’ll get more detailed information on my day-to-day journey with this internet marketing thing!

This is great!  This product officially converts! :] So I know exactly which products convert and now I need to expanding on these “specific” types of product.

The funny thing is, this is from one of two hoplink clicks – so I simply do not understand this internet marketing thing – but whatever – my products are converting about once every 79 hoplink clicks – atleast my top products:

My best product converts 1:33 – But there’s just so much competition – if I can get consistent traffic I can expand on my amount of sales with this niche – which alone can make me $1,000 if I put in a little more effort into it.

I love online marketing – I just got finished eating chicken all day, played my roommate in some games, and did some running – and I’m still profiting.  This is the meaning of “Don’t Chase Cash – Make it Chase You”. 

What I’m Learning:

This is going to be sort of a ramble – because I feel like procrastinating on my work today

I’m learning more and more each day that some products respond well to PPC while others respond better to Bum Marketing and some just flat out do well with both.

It is very possible to earn a legitimate income online with free methods – anybody who tells you differently is lying to the T.

Remember; when you design a landing page – the most important thing you want to do is to make sure that you hold their attention.  You can hold someone’s attention the best with two different yet simple things:

• Words that Target Exactly what they Want
• A picture that targets exactly what they want

For example, if your promoting a movie download website, instead of being mysterious and saying “Get all the entertainment needs with one true quality website” you might want to say instead: “3000+ New Movies, games, and entertainment at ExampleMovieDownloadSite.com”

You may want to include a picture such as a screenshot of the movie download website or some person enjoying entertainment on their PC to compliment this – remember this is all the first stuff you want the person to see on your landing page.

By giving the person what they want, fast – you’ll hold their attention longer.

Another Extra Tip Before I Start Rambling Too Much:

Do your keyword research!  freekeywords.wordtracker.com – that’s where I go to get my keywords.

Mailing list is going to work great for you too, I recommend that you sign up for AWEBER mailing service.  Although my sales have not utilized the AWEBER Autoresponder service – I do know once I start implementing it in my marketing plan – my sales will increase in profit margin, and they’ll be much more consistent.

My Autoresponder Plan:

Okay I lied – lol. I guess I just love typing.

• I Plan on building a list for each of my niches that I’m currently promoting – of course putting more effort into those that are converting better.  I’m going to simply do what any e-mail marketer does – I’m going to send e-mail subscribers mail every other or every 3rd day giving them valuable advice and also writing an honest product review.
• For example, let’s say you buy my keyword elite product [something that I plan on promoting in the future] – I’ll also recommend complimentary products such as Building traffic Ebooks, SEO Ebooks, Blogging with SEO, etc.  The possibilities are endless – by doing this I’ll be establishing “repeat sales” and I’ll be making cash no matter how good or bad a product converts because your e-mail subscribers trust you!

So if you haven’t done it already try e-mail markeing to get more sales – the only reason I haven’t started is simply because I simply cannot afford it at the moment; the moment I can afford it, I’ll establish it right away!

I’m getting kinda used to the sales now; I just need to start expanding so I can increase the amount of sales I am making.

Not that much, but this product and landing page combination have converted for me in the past – and I will continue promoting it and writing articles for it.  I’m going to really start writing tons of articles for these specific converting niches – and slowly expand:

My day’s going to look like this:

Write 5 articles for each of my converting niches on a daily basis.

Write a review landing page and atleast two articles daily until I have written 10 articles on one product [I only write 10 articles to see if it converts].

I’ve found that a certain product converts nicely, and it’s kinda ridiculous, but I believe I can start expanding on which products work and which one’s will not.

It’s getting to the point where I’m used to seeing sales now. So I just have to keep slowly working and increasing my sales - I should be seeing my 100$ a day goal pretty soon here.

Thanks for you guys that have been keeping up – I’m bound to give you guys some pointers on which products to promote, how to promote them, etc.  This thing works if you stay persistent; but you just have to keep trying & find out what works for you!
