Day 10 Full Recap – I Deserve a Break; lol.
Today was well, semi-productive. I did not submit one article, but there’s a good reason behind this! First of all, let’s start with the traffic updates.
Traffic Updates:
Bittersweet results; I saw the traffic explosion I expected, but these sales come really hard. Atleast the traffic’s targeted though. So I’m happy about the results - kinda.
-
Niche A – 38 Unique Visitors
-
Niche B – 29 Unique Visitors
-
Niche C – 4 Unique Visitors
-
Niche D - 43 Unique Visitors
-
Niche E – 16 Unique Visitors
-
Niche F – 9 Unique Visitors
-
Niche G – 35 Unique Visitors
174 total visitors – Pretty happy with the amount of traffic I’m getting. This is exactly what I expected.
But…
Sales Update:
- Ouch. No sales. That’s not good. LOL.
So do I feel like quitting? Heck no! But I did take a break today. I didn’t submit any articles – but I have the articles and everything lined up so I can streamline and submit a full 40 articles tommorow. I should be seeing another traffic explosion.
Pretty soon.
What I Got Done Today:
-
Not much to be honest, it was still productive because I learned alot on how to convert traffic.
-
I got my articles lined up for 2morrow, with titles, keywords, and outlined – so I should be able to complete 40 articles fairly easily tommorow
What I Have to do Tomorrow:
- Write 40 articles
- Create a new landing page with 5 articles attatched to it. This is my big ticket item, so I have an opportunity to make nearly 100$ a day with this product alone. As long as I focus on my big ticket products – the rest of the “cheaper ones” will just fall into place right?
What I Learned Today:
I have to remember to be patient. Even though I want a sale really badly on a consistent basis – I have to remember that checking my stats is not going to increase sales. I just know if I keep working then the consistent sales will just come and the results will not be a surprise.
Plus, I know alot more about driving traffic than I did months ago. I did not imagine that I’d be driving nearly 200 visitors in one day; fully targeted; in under two weeks. I’m proud of myself and I’m going to keep working hard!
I’m really going to work on keeping the end goal in mind. My end goal is to write 2500 articles – 100 articles per niche for 25 different niches. So I can move on to the next phase of my marketing which is creating my own products, doing PPC, and starting my own affiliate advice blog that will help others see the same success I did.
For some reason, when i have unselfish goals, it helps me work harder; pure money doesn’t motivate me.
anyways, enough rambling – see you 2morrow! Thanks for all your support guys!
Hey, great work man, you will eventually get there. Love reading your blog and checking your updates, taking a break now and then is just good for your or you will burn out, I know I did, but im soon back in the fray.
Keep at it and the results will come!

Thanks for the encouraging words man! Yeah I had to take a break yesterday, work hard today and a little tommorow before fourth of July.
Yeah, be sure to take breaks – when you do that; not only will you recover, but sometimes you get pretty neat ideas too.
Thank you so much for keeping up with this blog – it keeps me motivated when people comment on my blog posts; no joke!
Thanks, I will keep at it until I reach my goal of 2500 articles!

I think that this is all great that you are focusing on big ticket items but do not be fooled. The big ticket items will need more work. It costs more for someone to buy so they will need more convincing. Sometimes a cheaper item might sell more and make up for one or two big ticket sales. Do not lose sight of actually converting visitors. the big ticket items can distract you. I would much rather sell ten 7 dollar items then one 70 dollar items as they are easier to convert. Big ticket does not really mean big money, it can mean big hassle though.

I know what your sayiing!
To be honest? In my past testing – it’s been easier to a convince a person that a 99$ product has more value than the same 30$ product.
It’s just our captialist mindset in this society; if it’s expensive then it’s better – no matter what the true quality is.
I’m actually focused on all my products, I want to make atleast one sale a day with 25 products in 25 different niches – this is why i’m trying to write 100 articles per niche [1 visitor a day per article, 1% conversion ratio]
So even though I say i’m focusing on big ticket items first, that’s to help me push the cheaper products because I know a big ticket product can convert for me any day – I can have 100$ at any given moment
wouldn’t that excite you?

Absolutely that would motivate me! I cannot think of anyone that would not be motivated by a constant 100 dollars a day! I just thought you might be more motivated by a more consistent income from products that are easier to convert. Now if you find that you can convert a higher paying item then so be it. I just have not found that to be the case.
Right now I am focusing on only one niche and as soon as I get consistent results then I will move on to another niche and go back and forth. I only want to work on five niches total so I can dominate them. But we all have our own strategies.
